Prayer Time

This is what was on Nate's mind tonight at prayer time.

Nate) My teacher told me about this little boy who is homeless with no mommy or food and my teacher gave him some crackers from her back pack.

Me) Ahhh that was nice.

Nate) Can we take a trip to go see him, it might be far so we need to take a plane.

Me) Well Nate there are homeless people all around where we live, like in Knoxville....we can go there and give them food....

Nate) Ok, Maybe when we go we can just take one.

Me) Take one what?

Nate) Take one of the little kids home with us, and we add him to the family and take care of him.

Me) Well we'll have to talk to daddy about that, but we will go visit and feed them sometime soon....Let's pray for them tonight, Ok?

Nate) Ok!

One Sunday morning the way to church we found these cute turtles. We let the kids keep them for a few days and then we released them back into the wild. It was a fun experience!
