Mother's Day 2009

Look at the best mother's day flowers ever!

The kids spray painted an old sneaker, and turned it into a beautiful planter for our garden. I know I will really treasure these when they get older.

Then we spent the day at UT Baseball Game! After the game the kids got to run bases and get autographs! It definitely wasn't restful but memorable! We had so much fun!!!

When I take my kids shopping...

Kayla is in HEAVEN. I am happy God blessed me with my "Little Best Friend, Kayla". She will shop with me for hours and never complain, she even offers good advice and will "tell you like it is." Shopping is a good "get away" time from the "boys" we get to walk around, and talk about life and "girl things."

Now...Shopping with Nate is a different story...

Camping and Nemo's Creek

One Sunday after church, we stopped at the store, picked up some hot dogs, went home and packed our bags...Yes, spur of the moment decision!!! It was fun but one thing we forgot to check since this wasn't a "planned" camping trip, was the weather. But God was good, we got the tent set up and got to eat dinner at least...then...the rain came!!! It rained ALL night. It was even raining in our tent!

Since we were "rained out" we had to have fun "inside" the tent!

The next day we had a great time at the creek.

Fishing...But no luck!

Kayla hunted for shells for hours! She loves shells. Funny thing, when we got home she insisted we "labeled" the plastic container "Nemo's Creek Shells." OH BOY!!!! What have I created??

Our Dog Honey ~ 2009

Honey has been our family pet since Kayla was just born and is a big part of our family so I decided to have at least one post dedicated to her. When you are not here it feels weird. We love having you around. We love when we walk in the door and you jump all over us. The kids have loved playing with you ever since they were small. Now they battle over who gets to hold you on the couch. I love going to sleep and knowing you are always laying by my feet. We hate when we leave and you get in the trash or when you ruin my favorite shoes...but HONEY we love you and don't know how we would cope if we ever lost you. You are a great dog and thank you for dealing with the kids and all they put you through. (like dressing you up, pushing you in strollers, hosing you down...the list could go on and on...) Love you Honey Buff!!
